You Can’t Rush Nature
I am amazed each year by the falling of the autumn leaves. There are times when the wind blows and the storm rages, but the leaves fall off when they are ready, and no sooner. Many times after a heavy rain or wind comes through, the leaves remain on the tree. But one day later, when there is no wind at all, the leaves appear to be detaching themselves and drifting lazily to the ground. The point here is that you can’t rush Mother Nature, just as you can’t rush the healing process.
It takes time to heal. So many of us wish there was an instantaneous magic pill or a silver bullet that will make us heal and become healthy again. Unfortunately, that is not how our bodies are designed to work. When dealing with a joint injury such as subluxation, it takes time for the body to go through all the necessary stages of healing. For even minor problems this can take 90-120 days (About a season). So, instead of thinking about fixing a health problem in terms of days of weeks, I encourage you to be patient and let things happen as they were meant to, over time.
